Robert Cenek began his career in organization development and human resources back when Interaction Management was a new product - and Blake and Mouton’s Management Grid was still the rage.
His career includes stops at some of America’s best led companies, including Bristol-Myers, where he served as Manager, Management Development/Corporate Staff, and at General Mills, where during the late 80’s he headed up training for their Operations Divisions, and helped lead the firm’s well publicized and successful development of high performance work systems. He is a former consultant, and has also served as vice-president, human resources for a broadband services firm with a 26,000 mile fiber optic network.
Robert started the Cenek Report to invite dialogue and discussion relating to the world of work - and to present topics of interest to the thinking business professional. His pledge is to avoid pop psychology - and to offer as much evidence-based commentary as possible.
He is a registered organization development professional (RODP), and is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, holding a M.A. in Industrial and Labor Relations.
Robert has been a periodic contributer to Energy Pulse, an online knowledge portal that provides insight, analysis and commentary for the global power industry.
