Robert Cenek began his career in organization development and human resources back when Interaction Management was a new product - and Blake and Mouton’s Management Grid was still the hot rage.

His three decade long career includes stops at some of America’s best led companies, including Bristol-Myers, where he served as Manager, Management Development/Corporate Staff, and at General Mills, where during the late 80’s he headed up one of the country’s first corporate universities, and helped lead the firm’s globally recognized development of high performance work systems. He is a former consultant, and has also served as vice-president, human resources for a broadband services firm with a 26,000 mile fiber optic network. Robert is currently a member of the senior management team for a specialty minerals manufacturer based in Bethlehem, PA.

Robert started the Cenek Report to invite dialogue and discussion relating to the world of work - and to present topics of interest to the thinking business professional.  His pledge is to avoid pop psychology - to be “fad free” - and to offer as much evidence-based commentary as possible.

He holds a graduate degree from the University of Cincinnati - and spent his childhood years in New Hampton, Iowa.
